Your Guide to An Ultimate Girls’ Night Out in Tulsa!

3. “Makeshift Bar Crawl”

We’ve all heard of themed bar crawls — which are awesome — but why not make up your own for your next girls’ night out?

Step 1: Choose a list of fun bars that fit your group.

PRO TIP: stay in one area (like downtown Tulsa or Brookside) so you can walk from place to place or use a ride service more cheaply.

Step 2: Choose a theme.

You read it right: a THEME! This makes things so much more fun and interesting when you are collectively dressed as heavy metal band members from the 1980’s or characters from Saved by the Bell. Now you don’t have to do this, but why not? Have fun with it!

Step 3: BE SAFE. Don’t drink and drive; use a ride service.

As we should: this city has an extremely low tolerance for drunk driving. Pop-up sobriety checks and police officers on higher alert are just two tools that local law enforcement agencies use to protect the general public through the night.

A DUI will ruin your bar crawl experience.

One other thing to note is that you can get a DUI on a Lime scooter or bicycle and these have been happening in Downtown Tulsa. Not worth it, folks.

Step 4: Have fun!

4. RiverWalk

There’s no shortage of fun things to do at the RiverWalk. I don’t think anyone sees it as “underrated”, per se, but it has a LOT to offer.

Start your girls’ night out with appetizers or dinner at one of the many restaurant offered. Whether you’re in the mood for BBQ, ice cream, or chips and salsa – the RiverWalk has you covered!

If you’re looking to get a little active, you can walk down to FlyingTee and see who has the longest drive or play a friendly game of golf darts.

Golf not your thing? No fear — Pinot’s Pallet is a great place to flex that artistic muscle!

Pro tip: keep an eye on RiverWalk’s Facebook page for upcoming events you can incorporate into your future GNO!
