MASA

Holy cow — if I could have one complaint about this place, it’s that I probably don’t have enough time or money to try everything I want at MASA.

Offering an amazing version of a Cuban sandwich, a delicious invention referred to as the “bacon bomb”, and other South American staples like empanadas and arroz con pollo, you’ll never have trouble finding something new, interesting, and delicious.

Mr. Nice Guys

Tacos and macaroni & cheese.

I love when a restaurant figures out exactly what they want to sell, then they rock the hell out of it. That is precisely what Mr. Nice Guys does.

If you enjoy jerk chicken, this place is going to make your head explode. The overwhelming vote with the JustTulsa goobers is that the jerk chicken macaroni is the paragon of the Mr. Nice Guys menu, but I digress: it is the jerk chicken taco that is the champion.

I will say this: if you find yourself in line for Mr. Nice Guys for the first time, go with the jerk chicken macaroni. It will really wow you.

Andolini’s

Having become one of Tulsa’s most beloved pizzerias in the last 10 years, Andolini’s is on this list for a good reason:

If you want amazing pizza and their food truck is open for business, this is the only place to go.

The owners of this company have put some serious effort into their product — they use the best methods and the highest quality ingredients to give their customers one of the finest pizzas in Tulsa.

We’re big pizza lovers at JustTulsa and there are many that we love, but Andolini’s does really represent the highest tier in quality.

Try the pepperoni. It’s perfect.

Pita Place

Yep — Pita Place makes the second Greek food truck on this list, but you know what? It would be absolutely criminal to not include them on there.

Like Andolini’s, this is another outfit that has their stuff together in the quality, presentation, and pricing categories. Their brick & mortar store in Bixby is wildly popular.

The fact that they have a food truck makes me extremely happy. I’ve eaten from it (I’m a pretty straight-forward gyro kind-of-guy) several times and I’m 100% satisfied every single time.

Fans rave about their curry chicken, too — I haven’t had the pleasure of trying that yet, but it’s on my list!

Hungry yet?

Well, there you have it. Rumor has it that if you chip away at this entire list, your stomach will enter a state of enlightenment on its own. What’s to lose?

We hope you liked this list and more than that we hope that it finds you at the “order here” window of one of our great local food trucks. Get out there and support these guys. Even when the price is a smidge hire, you’re coming out on top with the quality and creativity of the food!
